• Congregation Convocation : When the two trumpets are blown together, the entire congregation gathers in front of the door of the Tent of Meeting.
• Convocation of Leaders : When one trumpet is blown, the commanders of Israel gather together.
• Camp departure : When you blow the trumpet for a long time, the eastern camp departs. When you blow the trumpet for a second time, the southern camp departs. This means that each camp departs one after another at the signal of a long trumpet blow.
• War signal : In times of war, blow the trumpet so that Jehovah will remember and save you.

• Moses prays every time the Ark of the Covenant departs and stops.
  • When setting out: “Arise, O LORD; let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before you.”
