- Paul introduces himself as a servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, and set aside to spread the gospel of God.
- Explain that the gospel was promised in advance through the prophets of the Old Testament, and its content is about the Son of God. Jesus Christ came as a descendant of David in the flesh, and was powerfully recognized as the Son of God by the Holy Spirit by being resurrected from the dead.

The power of the gospel and the wrath of God (1:16-32)
- The Power of the Gospel (1:16-17)
- Paul declares that he is not ashamed of the gospel. Because the gospel is the power of God that gives salvation to all who believe. This gospel is preached first to Jews and then to Greeks.
- In the gospel, the righteousness of God is revealed, leading us to faith through faith. The righteous will live by faith.
- Human Sin and God’s Wrath (1:18-23)
- The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.
- What is known about God is clearly revealed in people. Because God has clearly shown this.
- However, although people knew God, they did not glorify Him or give thanks to Him. Instead, their thoughts became futile and their foolish hearts became dark.
- They claimed to be wise, but they became foolish and exchanged the glory of God for the image of mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and creeping creatures.
- Consequences of God’s Wrath (1:24-32)
- God gave them over to impurity, according to the lusts of their hearts, so that their bodies could be dishonored to one another.
- They changed God's truth into lies and worshiped and served creation more than the Creator.
- So God gave them over to their shameful desires, and men and women formed an unnatural relationship based on their sexual desires.
- They are filled with all kinds of unrighteousness, ugliness, greed, malice, jealousy, murder, strife, deceit, malice, thin air, slander, hatred of God, insults, pride, boasting, plotting evil, disobedient to parents, foolishness. , committed sins such as betrayal, callousness, and ruthlessness.
- Even though they know God's justice that those who do such things deserve the death penalty, they not only do it themselves, but also approve of those who do such things.
